As part of the Beer and Flowers Laško festival, the Laško Local Knowledge and Collection Society will prepare an exhibition entitled “200 Years of Brewing in Laško”, which will offer visitors an insight into the rich history of brewing in Laško.

A diverse collection of brewing heritage items will be on display, consisting exclusively of exhibits from the private collections of the association’s members. Numerous items will be presented that testify to the development of brewing culture – from historical bottles, labels and glasses to posters, taps and other interesting items related to beer and its promotion over time.

The exhibition will offer a unique opportunity for a nostalgic walk through two centuries of tradition that have marked both the local environment and the wider brewing history of Slovenia.
