Every year, the Laško Museum traditionally organizes the opening of an exhibition that is available to visitors during the festival. This year, they are preparing an exhibition entitled First and Feer.

After the bold idea of ​​the leaders of the Laško Brewery to buy a never-used bottling line and eight million cans from a Serbian brewery in Vršac, cans of Laško beer appeared on store shelves for the first time in history forty years ago. The original orange color soon became the traditional green and with its recognition won over beer drinkers who like “beer to go”.

The flower exhibition and the open day of the Laško Brewery attracted the men and women of Laško to cooperate and socialize together while admiring the floral decorations of the city and enjoying a mug of a cold hoppy drink. It was quickly decided that the event should be repeated. An event called the Beer and Flower Festival was born, which this year celebrates its sixtieth anniversary.

An exhibition at the Laško Museum will honor both of the first events.
